This policy is short because this website collects very little. It covers the website and the early access waitlist. A separate, more detailed policy will cover the verification service itself before it goes live.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist: your email address, your store URL if you share it, what your store sells, and which page of this site you signed up from. That last one exists so we know which kinds of stores need this most.
We do not run advertising trackers or third party analytics on this site, and the fonts and assets are served from our own server, so your visit is not reported to anyone else.
Why we collect it
To contact you about early access, and to understand demand across store types. We will not sell your details or add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
Where it lives
On our own servers, hosted in the EU (Germany). Waitlist data stays there until you ask us to delete it or until it is clearly no longer needed.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion. Email hello@verifid.io and it will be handled by a person, quickly.
About the verification service
When the service is live, age checks are performed by certified EU verification providers. ID documents go to the provider, are processed in the EU, and are not stored by Verifid or by the store you are buying from. The full details will be in the service privacy policy published before launch.
